Stephen Lewis: About Me

I was born in Birmingham, England in 1956. I lived as a child in Edgbaston, Oldbury and Halesowen in the Midlands.

I have had a long-long interest in radio, television and electronics.

On leaving school, I joined GEC Telecommunications as a student apprentice.

Upon qualifying as an electronic and telecommunications engineer, I spent a few years working in the radio laboratory before moving to commercial management.

When GEC merged with Plessey, I moved north to Liverpool for four years.

In 1990, I obtained an MBA from the University of Warwick.

In 1992, I joined Fujitsu Telecommunications in Birmingham.

I married Heather in 1994, and now have a boy, Oliver, aged seven.

I live near Coventry.

I am a horse owner/rider and enjoy a good gallop at the weekend during the summer/autumn months.

Other interests include radio, television and communications.

I am currently researching the history of Isaac Lewis, my great grandfather, and I am buliding some areas within this site to cover genealogy issues.
