Paintings by George Morland - 110
SterlingTimes

The painting measures 12 by 16 inches approximately

This was offered on ebay in Febrary 2004 and is "guaranteed authentic" with a price of around about $200 after the first ten bids.

At a first glance, it look plausible. It will be interesting to see whether it reaches a good price.

** It seems highly unlikely that this is the original from which the mezzotint was produced. **

Another painting offered at ebay as a Morland  - a buy it now at $950.
